(Lowland District) From Gairnside, Aberdeenshire, the son of John McKenzie and Anne MacPherson; arrived in Valladolid from Aquhorties; remained in the college with Alexander Cameron II, when others left because of French invasion, November 1808; later, on Wellington’s staff ?; working in a mercantile house in Corunna, 1817.
